About Us
"Your Day" is as special to us as it is to you. We aim to provide a high quality service at competitive prices. I use the latest Sony professional compact digital video cameras to ensure high quality reproduction and unobtrusive filming. Video is filmed in actual 16:9 widescreen format ensuring compatibility with the latest widescreen TV's (although the DVD's can be viewed on non-widescreen TV's). I can also film in HD (High Definition) and produce the final DVD on BluRay disc if required. Sound is important. Where necessary, I use additional external microphones to ensure things like the wedding vows and speeches are recorded clearly. Filming is conducted as unobtrusively as possible in order for me to obtain a candid view of your special day, although I enjoy filming some "set pieces" to make your video extra special.
The video will be carefully and painstakingly edited onto DVD by me personally using the latest computer techniques. It will include music of your choice (or my choice if you would prefer). The DVD will have a range of menu buttons allowing you to access the various events of "Your Day" at the click of a button.
Photographs can also be added to the DVD (supplied by the clients), e.g. of the Bride & Groom when they were babies, toddlers, in school uniform, engagement photo, etc. The final production typically lasts between ninety minutes and two hours and includes a montage of special clips as a "finale" to the production with a range of special effects.
